Saint Barthélemy is reachable only by short-haul plane or by boat from Saint Martin (SXM).

By plane:

• Rémy de Haenen Airport (SBH) has one of the shortest runways in the world: ~650m.
• From Sint Maarten (SXM): ~12 min flight with Winair, St Barth Commuter or Tradewind.
• From Guadeloupe (PTP): ~45 min.
• A memorable landing over the hill — the plane passes just metres above the houses.

By boat:
